Congress structure

Congress Day 1

The TSI Congress 2008 starts with the opening forum at 10.00 on 1 October (check-in from 8.30) in the hotel’s conference area. Again this year, a general introduction will be followed by an entire day devoted to parallel discussion forums and workshops at five different locations. Delegates can design their own “Congress programme” on the basis of their own individual wishes and interests.

A “market place” with company presentations by the Congress sponsors will be set up on two levels. It provides a communication platform enabling delegates, speakers and sponsors to engage in an exchange of views.

The official part of the Congress will end at around 18.00 over a glass of wine or beer in the conference foyer and the DomLounge.

From 21.30 the Congress participants can then bring Day 1 to a close in an informal “Chill-out und get-together” with a cocktail bar. The hotel’s glass-panelled DomLounge with a view over Berlin’s fascinating skyline is the ideal location. Andreas Lanninger, Barman of the year 2007, and Toni Arena, who has also received several awards as a barman, will provide the entertainment. Your host on this occasion is Volkswagen Bank.

Congress Day 2

Congress Day 2 starts at 9.00 with parallel forums and workshops. The forum “Corporate finance in Germany – the current debate about the credit markets” with high-ranking representatives of the worlds of politics and business brings the formal part of the Congress to a close. The subsequent lunch­eon buffet provides a natural bridge to the optional social programme of the TSI Congress 2008.
